• • • • • • • It is downloaded from a disk into my applications folder and when I try to open it 'TurboTax' flashes momentarily next to the apple at the top of the screen then goes blank and will not open. . I had ordered from Amazon at first with a download and no disk, that I could open but it was 'read only' and I couldn't import last years info. I asked Amazon for a refund and that they sent me a disk instead, thinking there was something wrong with the downloaded program. Now I can't open it at all. I've checked security/privacy, turned off firewall and have done everything I can think of. I have no problem with 2015 and side by side it is the same as 2016. I think it may be something with our brand new iMac and some block done by something in the operating system but I don't know what.
